The purpose of the Architecture club is to help students learn more about architecture generally, whether it is a career path, architectural theories, or innovative design. We provide a school-wide platform for boosting knowledge and resources for students interested in architecture to have more opportunities to unleash their potential.

Carpanatomy has been Earl Haig's entirely student-run source of news since 1990. The newspaper has four sections — Arts and Culture, Student Life, Current Events, and Opinions. Each showcases notable events and comments on the world from Haigers' perspectives. 

Cancer Awareness Club (CAC) is for those who enjoy researching more about Cancer and Cancer Research. CAC organizes events such as fundraisers, including "relay for life." Executives and general members will have the chance to write articles on Cancer Research to raise awareness.

The Earl Haig History Club (EHHC) is the club for Earl Haig students who are interested in history. EHHC is devoted to delivering rich historical knowledge to its general members through engaging activities such as presentations or games. EHHC encourages its general members to present and share their knowledge to educate each other, demonstrating a supportive community in Earl Haig.

Math Society fosters interest in mathematics through contest preparation, curriculum support, and engaging problem-solving activities. Math Society welcomes students of all skill levels and promotes growth in areas such as algebra, geometry, and number theory. By combining academic enrichment with enjoyable events, Math Society encourages both excellence and entertainment in mathematics.

Math Society offers three streams: contest math, curriculum math, and intro to university math. The contest math stream prepares students for competitions like the Euclid Contest, the curriculum math stream helps students boost school grades, and advanced students can explore post-secondary topics in the intro to university math stream. Additionally, 24/7 math help is available on our Discord server.

Earl Haig Programming Club is an academic club with the purpose of enriching students’ programming knowledge through various concepts and algorithms. By going above and beyond school computer science courses, Programming Club is able to prepare students for contests such as Waterloo’s Canadian Computing Competition. The club welcomes all skill levels, with opportunities to learn new languages for beginners.

The robotics club at Earl Haig will be a team-oriented club in which students will work together to perform tasks using sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), microcontrollers, automation, etc. We are planning on using many different softwares such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi to wire and code different sorts of devices. We plan on using different types of robots throughout the year such as Lego Mindstorms and Vex Iq. 

Science Society is Earl Haig Secondary School’s central science club, formed from the merging of smaller science groups. It includes departments for biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and HOSA, each providing opportunities for contest prep, labs, and engaging activities. The club supports both general interest and competitive students, helping younger students prepare for senior science courses.
