The Student Activity Council (SAC) is Earl Haig’s central hub for student life. SAC organizes key annual events—such as Carnival Day, Carpe Day, and SAC Week, all while facilitating extracurricular activities and initiatives. SAC comprises presidents from all SAC Family Councils (Arts, Athletics, Class Representatives, Clubs, ECO, HaigTV, Junior, Outreach, SOPSS, Social, and Stage Crew), providing a comprehensive representation of the diverse Earl Haig community.

Arts Council works to join the Claude Watson program with collegiate students. Arts council encourages students to showcase their artistic talents through events such as Coffee House, Creation Rush, and Arts Week. Earl Haig Athletics Council (EHAC) is responsible for all extracurricular athletics activities, including hosting home games and tournaments, events like the Terry Fox Run and Athletics Banquet, intramurals, and promoting TDSSAA teams and athletes. The Earl Haig Eco Council is a club dedicated to educating students about the impacts they have on the environment while also providing them with opportunities to counteract these impacts with positive changes. HaigTV seeks to promote and enhance the quality of school spirit via the form of media projects with an emphasis on video. It serves as a representative of Haig’s ability to create both entertaining and high-quality media.
