The Student Activity Council (SAC) is Earl Haig’s central hub for student life. SAC organizes key annual events—such as Carnival Day, Carpe Day, and SAC Week, all while facilitating extracurricular activities and initiatives. SAC comprises presidents from all SAC Family Councils (Arts, Athletics, Class Representatives, Clubs, ECO, HaigTV, Junior, Outreach, SOPSS, Social, and Stage Crew), providing a comprehensive representation of the diverse Earl Haig community.

Arts Council provides Earl Haig a platform for students to embrace and discover the arts. The council organizes a variety of events and workshops, including Coffee House, Arts Week Creation Rush, painting sessions, and much more. The athletics council promotes athletes, facilities and support teams, hosts home games, and hosts charity initiatives and intramurals. Towards the end of the year, they host an Athletics banquet to celebrate the athletes at Earl Haig with rewarding medals for their achievements. ECO Council aims to keep Earl Haig a clean, sustainable community, and provide students with the opportunity to learn about pressing environmental issues. They organize 20-30 initiatives yearly, ranging from social media posts to large-scale school events, including waste audits, community cleanups, school visits, and cooking activities.

Stage Crew facilitates technical aspects of all assemblies, performances, or other events in the school. Lighting, sound, and other technical work for performances such as SOPSS assemblies, band performances, Outdoor events, etc. are run by Stage Crew. Members are trained to provide proper equipment and operate said equipment to ensure all performances in the school are run smoothly.
