Members gain invaluable experience by competing in the Canadian National Leadership Conference (CNLC) in March, where they compete in various business-related events on a national level. Mock trial members learn about the Canadian legal system and have mock trials. The purpose is to teach members more about the legal system and apply them to cases/mock trials. Members will be able to practice a variety of skills including case analysis, critical thinking, and debating skills. Mock trials will be competing in the OJEN competition during the spring. Competitive members will be coached by lawyers who coached the team in previous years.
